Hi Dr. Huberman, I saw that Dr. David Sinclair's research findings on reversing and or slowing the aging process has recently made the news. I'm interested in your thoughts about including Resveratrol as a daily "supplement" for the purposes of slowing or reversing some effects of the aging process. I noticed that it was not included or mentioned your episode on Supplements and I'm hoping you might be able to comment on adding Resveratrol to our daily protocol. Thank you very much!
Please can you explain how different breathing affects the nervous system? How does the “sigh” that you talk about work in calming the nervous system? Are there benefits to yogi breathing practices (e.g. Ujjayi Pranayama, Nadi Shodhana Pranayama)? Given the fact we can breath for “zero cost” (any time, anywhere, in any situation) it would be great to understand more about how we can leverage the breath for health and wellbeing. Thank you
Dr. Huberman, you are a mentor and a role model to all of your listeners. Can you do an episode on, or provide insight into the value of mentorship? I know you had many mentors and sources of guidance on your way up. This subject would be incredibly valuable to the next generation of scientists, and people of all walks of life. Thanks!
I am a big fan of your podcast and all the topics you cover. Would you consider doing an episode on the work of Phil Stutz and his book "The Tools: A New Approach to Self-Discovery and Growth?" I believe that the power of The Tools can be explored from a neuro-plasticity perspective and that this would make for an interesting and informative episode. Phil Stutz's work has helped many people overcome personal barriers and achieve their goals, and I think the listeners would benefit from learning about these techniques. Thank you!
