I heard that in order to get in the habit of doing something, you have to think about enjoying the action itself as opposed to waiting for the reward that comes after. I dont understand how somebody could enjoy washing the dishes or doing similar things without lying to themselves. I am so close to getting someone on craigslist to come in and do it for me.
I saw an article in the WSJ journal 1.24.2013 print edition about wet suits vs no suit for a swim in the bay. Because I am following Wendy Suzuki's protocal for "hypocampus bubble bath" I would like to know if there are any studies using this population of cold water swimmers and memory improvment. Is the cold swim protective of any condtion?
Could you talk about sleep paralysis (and maybe other conditions that disturb sleep)? And mostly important how to deal with them and make them stop? For some reason I get really hot during my sleep and that can trigger sleep paralysis for me - whenever it happens I realize I'm uncomfortable and sweating/have too many blankets or something similar. I also wonder about why do some people like me get night sweats if our temperature is technically at its lowest. Other factors can also trigger the sleep paralysis like noises (like someone snoring), and even anxiety/mood, but it seems to be mostly external factors that disturb sleep; sometimes it feels completely random though. Interesting enough I also have the episodes happen in dream (as I'm having the sleep paralysis in a dream where I'm trying to sleep/wake up and have to wake up in there to then wake up in real life - feels like really weird inception stuff lol). This is the biggest thing that impacts my sleep and I can't find help anywhere besides advice about having a consistent sleep/night routine which I already do :(
