Cannabis and ADHD

Would love to understand deeper of there's any potential benefits of cannabis on ADHD? I'm 33 and I've used it as a remedy for a while, on almost a weekly basis and can report that my creativity and ability to focus increase while under the influence, bit wonder if it may be exacerbating the symptoms in the long run as well as whether there's any interplay with the traditional well-known ADHD-drugs (which I expect to get prescribed once testing positive, hopefully in a few weeks from now)?
