There are so many recommendations for supplements, and I hate swallowing tablets. Is there any research that shows whether swallowing capsules versus opening them and mixing them in a drink or food (eg yoghurt) has a different effect? Lot easier to open five capsules in food than it is to swallow.
Recently I went to the hospital with a kidney stone. One reason for that might be that I took creatine beforehand (5g/day) and (unfortunately not ceylon) cinnamon (2 tbs/day). To paraphrase the classic eddie hall-meme „I was severely dehydrated“ and had creatinine in my urine. Thus i stopped taking creatine for now… my question is whether creatine is over for me - regarding the positive effects beside the effect on hypertrophy I would miss it a little bit :/ are there alternatives I could safely use?
