Alternatives to Alcohol

Hi Dr Huberman, for those of us that want to cut down (or cut out) alcohol, but still want to maintain an active social life - often surrounded by people drinking heavily - are there substitutes you would recommend (supplements, natural stimulants, etc.) that can mirror some of the positive effects of alcohol (reduced anxiety, energy increase, euphoric sensations, etc) without the adverse physiological impacts?
