I realized that when I’m “in the mood” to do a specific task it’s a lot easier to do it. For example; if I have to write a long term business strategy but my mind is trapped in a tunnel vision mode (ie focused on a problem facing in that particular day) I find it extremely hard to get in the zone for the larger task. To sum it up, are there tools to reset my mindset so I can easier adapt my brain to the desired task I need to perform?
Hey Dr. Huberman, I’m a 34 year old male. I get my blood tested annually at Inside Tracker. Last year my SHGB was 61. I ran a course of fadogia agrestis and tongat ali during the last year to see if it could bring it down. My last test came back and my SHGB is now at 65. Total T went up (from 770 to 835) and Free T went from 9 to 10, so a little over 1% of Total T. Listening to some options you and Dr. Attia discussed in Episode 85, it seems I should talk to a hormone specialist about potential options to lower my SHGB. If possible, could you tell me what you think my best course of action is? You and Dr. Attia did not seem to keen on many TRT clinics and I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing for long term health. Thank you for your time.
