Are there any specific protocols that can help in prevention of night terrors for kids? I'm asking specifically for the parasomnia ones (~3 hours after falling asleep, kid crying like possessed, not really awake, remembers nothing in the morning). Bonus question: if light late in the day is detrimental to our sleep why kids are having such a hard time falling asleep in the dark? Should we kill the night lights as soon as they fall asleep?
I've consumed quite a lot of content about lifestyle, longevity and nutrition science, including David Sinclair, Dr Michael Greger, The Huberman Lab, Dr. Peter Attia etc. While a lot of the data points to a vegan or whole-food plant-based (WFPB) diet done right is the way to go, we also have the viewpoints of many other experts such as Dr. Peter Attia, stating exercise is the most important factor in optimizing for longevity. So technically, consuming animal-based protein to get the most of your exercise could supersede the same exercise regimen on a WFPB diet with longevity in mind? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
Situation: I love drinking coffee every morning. I usually drink Latte with regular full cream milk and it gives me a good start of the day. I am not addicted to caffeine, and can go about just fine without a coffee. Complexity: I am told that regular milk is not good for health hence I should take my coffee with alternatives like Almond milk or soy milk or oat milk. I have tried different options but I don’t like the taste of alternative milk and I don’t feel sick or unhealthy after drinking coffee with regular milk. Question : Is regular milk bad for health? If yes, which milk is the best alternative from health point of view? In general, what are the considerations for dairy products from health point of view? Is low cream a better alternative to a full cream milk?
