Is there a treatment or "cure" for advanced macular degeneration? To avoid the blindness in a person just diagnosed with that disease (and told there was nothing to do about it) where can i find more information about the lastest scientific work for blindness? Thank you! you are the best! I love to support your amazing work.
What are the brain areas and neurochemistry involved in planning and prioritizing? Why do some people find it SO difficult to plan and prioritize? What factors are involved? What helps one shift through the threshold between default mode to attentional mode? How can we mechanize or develop a protocol to help others adapt the 'brainstorming/divergent' thinking and 'convergent thinking' to planning, prioritizing, and work bouts?
I am really interested a practical protocol to increase agility, especially vertical jump. I think there are so much confusion how to gain more muscle 2 fiber which helps to have more agility, not as clear as strength or hypertrophy. I would be more than happy if you can clear this to me and I hope to many athletes too.
Hi Professor Huberman! You've mentioned the CO2 tolerance test as a way to measure recovery after sleep. I've been using this each morning and tracking my stats. Quick question - does the test "end" when I end up swallowing, or when I completely run out of breath. For example, I typically will feel the urge to swallow around 20 seconds, but can keep exhaling for around 60 seconds. What I have noticed is that the two don't always correlate either - sometimes I need to swallow sooner but have an overall longer exhale, and sometimes vice versa. Hoping you can help me better understand how to measure this and to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Thank you!
