Abstaining from Thoughts

Hello, in your discussion with Anna Lembke, you were talking about abstaining from people's drug of choice for 30 days to reset the dopamine reward pathway. You said you were going to ask Anna about how to abstain if your drug of choice was a thought and/or narrative. As far as I can tell, the discussion moved on before you could ask Anna that question. Would you be able to discuss strategies for abstaining from addictive thoughts and narratives?

Why doesn't Peter Attia do Zone 3 cardio?

In your Foundational Fitness Protocol, day 5 is 35 minutes of moderate intensity cardio (75-80% of max effort). My understanding is that this would fall into Zone 3 cardio. I've been listening to more of Peter Attia, and I noticed that he really only seems to do Zone 2 and Zone 5 cardio - in fact, he seems to emphasize how important these two zones are in particular because "that's generally where life takes place." So why do you include Zone 3 in your protocol? Does Attia emphasize 2 and 5 simply because he thinks that they are more practical for day-to-day life? Or are they actually more beneficial for overall health? Does Zone 3 have any distinct benefits to overall health?

New study shows gut bacteria triggers rheumatoid arthritis?

Autoimmune diseases are rampant in my family (Hashimotos, RA, alopecia). "The new study, published in the October 26 issue of Science Translational Medicine, revealed that this bacterial species could trigger the formation of autoantibodies, or antibodies that target the body's own tissues". Reference: ME Chriswell, et al. Clonal IgA and IgG autoantibodies from individuals at risk for rheumatoid arthritis identify an arthritogenic strain of Subdoligranulum. Science Translational Medicine DOI: 10.1126/scitranslmed.abn5166 (2022). If you could please do an episode on autoimmune diseases, I've been eagerly awaiting to hear an episode from you about this :D thankyou

I'm a 64 year old male. I ruck 40lb 3miles several x a week. I've gotten a gluten strain that requires alot of stretching in the AM, I'm trying BPC 157 and TB 500. question should I have a recovery time before next ruck, how do I know I'm ready ( started up before when feeling 80% only to fallback) should I always have a rest day or two etc.

Re Peter Attia podcast - Aust Osteopenia Study

Dr Peter Attia referred to a study that was done in Australia with women that had osteoporosis and the exercises that they were doing. It was on YouTube apparently. Can you share the link please.
