Diabetes is one of the big killers of our time. Lwts say you have a family history of diabetes; In addition to the more obvious precautions, reducing weight, eating less sugar, exercise, maybe fasting and a ketogenic protocol, I am sure there are more things we can and should do, but what does science point us to? There must be a lot we can actually take into our own hands such as immune support, vaccination against certain viruses, sleep patterns etc, I now you have touched upon this in your episode on intermittent fasting but there must be more to it such as mindset, microbiota etc. Eager to know more! Thanks for this opportunity.
I know, silly sounding question, but when people up their protein (like for bodybuilding), a common side effect is more and stinkier gas, and while not a health hazard, can have social and therefore mental health impact. The solutions found online are "eat more fiber", "avoid dairy", and "eat probiotics". The vegan bodybuilders I know already do all of these things, and it seems to be a problem across the dietary spectrum.
