Thank you for the enlightening episode with Dr. Sara Gottfried. It seems the the issue of women's libido is overlooked by healthcare providers nearly universally. Any research, supplementation, practices to help enhance a woman's libido (in all of adulthood, but particularly for the perimenopausal woman)?
I heard that walking after meals are good so muscles suck the sugar from bloodstream without the need of insulin. Also heard that fat adapted muscles prefer fat to sugar. How do they work together? When a very fat adapted body eats carbs and sugar will that go to muscle glycogen storage if you sit after a meal with use of insulin? If I go for a walk will that muscle suck the sugar from bloodstream regardless of how fat adapted it is? Or will it really refuse the sugar in the blood like the plague? Thanks.
