Fatty15

What’s your take on the C15:0 fatty acid? Is it really better than standard omega-3s?

Do people wearing eyeglasses suffer light/circadian problems from the lenses?

In the podcast about getting sunlight at sunrise and sunset, it was mentioned that we wouldn't benefit from watching these events if we watched through a window, like our home or car, because it filters a particular wavelength (or something to that effect). Should I be taking my eyeglasses off when I go out to watch the sunrise or sunset?

Prebiotics are not a singular, monolithic substance. I believe many discussions on the topic treating them as a singular concept are providing a disservice to the audience.

There is a broad spectrum of prebiotics that have a similarly broad effect on your microbiota. There are over a thousand species of bacteria in our guts, and reside in different areas along our digestive tract. Prebiotics don't have uniform digestibility characteristics, and thus they influence our tracts differently. I did a literature review on this topic a few years ago. It's a dense read, but if you can slog through it, you'll know more about prebiotics than most people. https://s3.amazonaws.com/great-gut-downloads/whitepapers/PrebioticDiversity-Whitepaper.pdf
