I know that sleep is important for our lives. However, I read that there are other sleep cycles, such as the Uberman sleep cycle. The principle of the sleep cycle is that you sleep for 20 minutes every four hours. Does this have a positive impact on the body? There are other sleep cycles like 30-min naps and 4 h sleep. The important thing is that the naps are still at the same time. So, the question is, what are your thoughts on the Uberman sleep cycle? Is it healthy or harmful for the body? Regards and thank you for your knowledge.
While helping and motivating my friends and family to change their eating habits to aid in weight lose, I've hit a few road blocks that are preventing me to keep them on the path. One family member in particular has been exercising regularly with semi-clean eating for well over 2 years now with little to no results in the weight lose category. I am wondering if there are any protocols or measures I could guide them towards that would "kick-start" their metabolism so that the typical protocols of lowering calories, daily exercise etc. would show benefits again?
