Ketones, ketosis and longevity

Is there any value in fasting for a longer period (say 5 days) once or twice a year to reach a state of ketosis? This next to just regular intermittent fasting or time restricted eating for 12 to 16hrs a day. (Have been new subscriber to HL and listened to a lot of podcast. You might have already covered this but I haven’t found it)

Applied Behavior Analysis as applied to autism and other pathologies

Hello! Would you do a podcast on the science of ABA, and how behavioral sciences have been applied successfully to treat autism, as well as many other pathologies ? I know you like Freud 😁 but I live in a country (France) that still widely uses Freudian psychoanalysis to treat autism (and other mental illnesses) with catastrophic results. ABA is the only scientifically proven method to improve symptoms of autism (especially early intervention), and we desperately need this amazing and incredibly complex science to be popularized and understood. Science of Melatonin production & supplementation protocol

What are needed cofactors? How they interact? And therefore, what is best supplementation, and breakfast setup and schedule to create most melatonin and have great sleep? From what I've heard, Tryptofan is needed between 8:00 and 12:00 to produce Serotonin (which later during the day is used to produce melatonin = sleep hormone). But, tryptofan fights over transporter in brain with other amino acids. So in theory, if we eat protein breakfast, and tryptofan, then there is less chance tryptofan will have enough transporters as they will be used by other amino acids. Also, insulin is needed to absorb tryptofan, so it needs to be consumed with carbohydrates - and yet its so popular and recommended right now to eat protein+fat breakfasts. There is also magnesium, chrome pikolinian, some bvitamin needed. How to assemble this into best meals and schedule to create Melatonin and have good night sleep nutrition wise?

Neuroscience for enhancing musical composition and performance

Hello. The topic of music has such an incredible depth that you could probably do a month of episodes on it. I would like to deepen our understanding of neuroscience principles that can enhance our study of music, both performance and composition, and any other aspect that you may be aware of that I have overlooked. Your episodes on focus were also very helpful for musical training, but apart from creativity, learning and focus, there must be vast unexplored areas of brain research relating to music that we could benefit from, and things like music and art make the world such a better place. Having more information on these sorts of things would help a lot. The Rick Rubin episodes were helpful, but his speciality is commercial music, and our brains are equipped for so much more than that. Please help
