During a volunteering session of getting into low/high “stressful”times may be cold/heat exposure, cardio, dense training, yoga, breath work etc, is there any benefits to apply slow inhales & exhales during those times, for the purpose of when in a mindset of an event say “sports” would that help on to“extend but not controlling but being more present of time”?, without sacrificing any “energy” because of slow breathing during the moment? Thank you guys again
There is a market for using UV light for disinfecting many devices. There are also products like LARQ which are using a UV to clean the water inside a bottle. How well does UV light work in destroying harmful contaminants? Is it safe and what are the red flags to look out for in this emerging market?
Hi! Two years ago I was hit-and-run by an SUV going over 40mph. My skull split open. Ambulance delivered me to Scripps Memorial and I had a Glasgow Coma Scale of 3. My family was informed I would not survive, as very few do. Those that do survive, cannot function so well for life. I, however, have healed uncomonly well. Someone should research me to assess why so we can help others. Neuro practitioners keep saying "lok for case studies". Scientific case studies require a minimum of ~30 participants. Very few survive a GCS of 3. And heal? I may be the only one.... Not enough for a case study! I was an inpatient for five months. I had 3 brain surgeries, including one to implant a VP Shunt for my severe Hydrocephalus that I acquired with the brain injury. I was discharged at the end of Sept 2021. At that point, doctors informed me I would always need a wheelchair, feeding tubes, and an at-home nurse. Fortunately: incorrect. I quickly returned to active and outdoorsy. Passed my Neuro Psych exam with flying collars and quickly regained permission to drive. I returned to independent living, participating in conferences, and solo travel. Why the heck have I healed way beyond how other GCS 3 survivors heal? How can I find a Neuroscientist to research me so we can help others?
