I often have cold feet and hands when others don't (and when it isn't really that cold) and I also shiver when others don't (eg, after an ocean swim). I've always assumed that I just have poor circulation. Is it possible this sensitivity to cold could be caused by a lack of, or minimal brown fat? And if you have no brown fat (as one subject was found to in Dr Soberg's expts) can you create it? If you have some brown fat can you increase the total volume of it with gradual cold exposure? Or are you just activitating the amount that you already have to become adapted to the cold?
