HIIT Trainings - how long?

Hi Andrew. Foremost, I wanted really appreciate and thank you for all your efforts. It's completely amazing! I have a question related to HIIT. In protocol we can find: "3-12 Sets, Ratio of work to rest 3:1 or 1:3 (the latter allows for better form/quality of work due to longer rest.) For example, could do a movement for 30 seconds on, 10 seconds rest (3:1) or 20 seconds on, 60 seconds rest (1:3) or some variant thereof." I'm wondering, how long should one anaerobic training session last. E.g. 3:1 ration with 12 reps as above gives us about 6,5 minutes per one cycle. Could you tell, how many of these 6,5-minute cycles should be included in one session? How long should last the pauses between cycles? Thank you in advance for answer! BR Hubert

Alcohol

The episode about alcohol was great, but I'm still left with a question, even if I do not drink. In many books - even health books and health advice the positive effects of alcohol on heart health are stated. Sometimes I even heard that it is better to drink some alcohol than nothing. Considering all the negative side effects of even moderate drinking (Cortisol etc.) - how would you rate the "heart healthy" properties of alcohol compared to the possible damage? Or is it just not true that not drinking at all is less healthy than drinking moderately. Really appreciate your podcast, I heard all episodes up to now, some even twice when they were very content dense.

Meditation and neurochemicals

Hi Andrew, you mention that deep focus require increases in Dopamine, Acetylcholine and Epinephrine. What about in meditation? Meditation is also focus training, but in meditation Epinephrine decreases. So why is that? Thank you so much for your time and knowledge:)

Meaning and the Brain

It's known that a phenomenon such as moral judgement as religious experience, thought to be more abstract, can be associated with brain activity in specific regions. I was wondering: is there a structure (or several structures) in the brain that's involved with a sense/experience of meaning in life? It also might help clarify how to develop such sense or feeling, perhaps with the help of psychological tools (e.g. positive psychology, Logotherapy etc.). Thank you!

Dysautonomia/POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)

Hello Andrew, Hope you are doing great. Dysautonomia and POTS are extremely getting more and more common today. Some people believe its due to the effects of covid (long covid). Some believe its just due to deconditioning of the body and some believe its an actual autonomic nervous system disorder. What’s your take on it and any possible solutions for people suffering from it?
