Dr huberman, I was wondering if you could discuss covid brain fog alittle bit. It is something I have been dealing with for alittle over a year now and I was wondering if you had any advice. I have been trying to prioritize sleep/diet/exercise but I still struggle with it on occasion. I am taking lions mane mushrooms, fish oil, and luteolin supplements and was wondering if you had any insights on these supplements. From what I can tell they have been known to help people with brain issues but I wanted your expert opinion on the matter. Thank you for everything you do.
Dr Huberman I was diagnosed with chronic PTSD a decade ago ( former military member ). I also experienced multiple deaths as a child prior to my twelve birthday ( father and two close friends ). With my psychologist, we chose the CBT route. Albeit intense ( 3 days a week) for over a year and half before feeling comfortable enough to dial it back ( once a month now ). I work in the finance industry as a senior executive and keep mentally active which empowers me and keeps me positive . My question- are there mental exercises that I can do to keep my brain “sharp” as I age ( I still exercise 5-7 days a week )? Thank you
