Hi... I see there are lot's of questions about cold therapy and I wanted to narrow down a specific inquiry. Is there a recommended protocol for cold therapy and morning workouts. For example, I have a cold plunge on the way and want to create a morning routine... something like wake up -> work out -> cold plunge or wake up -> cold plunge -> work out. Is there science behind one sequence over the other?
Have there been any developments, studies or protocols which provide best practice or enhancements for existing post-surgical rehabilitation and recovery? Specifically, 41/2 months ago, I received surgery for a pectoralis major rupture. Post-surgery was a mixture of physio and exercise physiology through the ROM, strength and power phases. I'd be excited to hear about any science to improve injury management. Cheers, John
