Hello, I am a student and was wondering if it is possible to shift your focus when the current task emits a large amount of dopamine. For example, is there a protocol that can turn one's mind from pleasure-seeking to activating the prefrontal cortex? Like watching YouTube to being able to effectively study. If "refilling the dopamine pool" is necessary how can this process be done in the student's atmosphere while also "priming" the student to work efficiently.
Can you please elaborate on how Caffeine intake first thing in the morning is acceptable, when and only you workout first thing in the morning. I recognize the best guidance is do not consume caffeine in the first 60-90 minutes.
