This is somewhat specific to rock climbing, but I'm wondering---as a climber, I (and friends) will sometimes spend a full day outside, sport climbing. Other days, I'll hang out in the climbing gym for 4-5 hours perhaps, bouldering and doing yoga and sitting to do remote work (on my laptop) in between (because it's also a social space, and convenient. Sometimes I want to climb until my muscles give out, then climb some more). Do you have advice about when you should eat something, to give your body fuel, or if you should wait until you're done training (or performing), so your body isn't slowed down by digestion? I suppose that applies to marathon runners and bikers...and what's key is fast fuel, like gels and drinks, to replenish glucose. But what about activities that are short bursts of muscle work, then rest? (Thank you :) )
Is there a normal range for genitalia size for boys in early teenage years and do these normally grow in asynchronous stages or linearly as the child develops? At what stage might one be able to know if there is a problem? Beautiful, healthy son in all other respects and trying to avoid emotional pain or stigma around the subject but also want to understand if development is normal.
