I am a 38 year old female endurance athlete (bike/run); I also strength train. Wondering about how to fast/restrict time safely plus eating window (start/end times, duration), macros, minimum calorie intake, human growth hormone, overtraining, autophagy, hitting wall, blah blah blah
I truly appreciate your commitment to sharing evidence-based solutions, the “behavior modification first” approach to issues covered in your podcast, and your openness to hosting other scientists and clinicians with expertise related to these questions. The Huberman Lab website has a well worded medical advice disclaimer, and you frequently remind listeners to seek the advice of a practitioner for things such as differential diagnoses and medication, which fall outside the scope of laboratory science. With the confluence of ideas between science and medicine, how would you describe the relationship between these disciplines? Where does science end and treatment or therapy begin? Medicine would not be where it is without science, and humanity would not be where it is without either. I am curious to hear your thoughts on the delineation between the two. Many thanks and podcast on, Kathy Killingsworth
