So far most of the discussion around coffeine is in regard to consuming it in large douses as coffee, but what about small douses like cola, I used to drink about a bottle (1.5 litters) throughout the day, which contain "only" a 120 mg of caffeine across the day.
I would love to know if you believe the studies that show that our relatively newer methods of reading instructions in early childhood are mapping reading to the “wrong” (different) are of the brain, and whether this contributes to the epidemic of poor American literacy. This was touched on in the NPR podcast “Sold a Story: How Teaching Kids to Read Went So Wrong”- but I can’t find the literature/fMRI to support the assertion. Frankly I would love a whole podcast dedicated to literacy. Thank you!
Thank you for your immense knowledge and willing to share so much with us! I absolutely love learning more about science thanks to you. I’m 56 and really struggle with fitting in exercise during the demanding work week. I’ve read your Fitness Toolkit but don’t have a gym handy. What strength building workout routine do you recommend doing from home/anywhere?
