I suffer from motion Sickness while traveling in Buses or cars, Most of time, It happens when I'm travelling early in the morning although it happens in daytime as well. In night time, I never experienced this. It also happens when I'm travelling and If I look at book/mobile. Wanted to understand more about the reason behind this and what can be done to prevent it. As of today, I take medicines for nausea before traveling to avoid this.
My 15 year old son was diagnosed with T1D in May. At diagnosis his A1C was 13. He was started on insulin and over the course of a month the insulin amount he needed went down to 0 and he entered the so called “honeymoon” phase. At the last check-up, at the end of August, his A1C was 5.2. I am confused about this honeymoon; what is it? Why is it happening? How is it happening? (What is the physiological mechanism behind it?) How long does it last? Can it be prolonged with supplements and diet? (Even now he is a bad eater so really looking at supplements) He is 5’11” and weighs 132lbs but is still on carb restriction for up to 60g of carbs per meal and is not gaining any weight. It has been a very stressful couple of months, up and down emotionally, so any answer you can provide will help us, I’m sure. Thank you!
