As Dr. Huberman has taught us, rising blood glucose levels and pre-diabetes as we age have reached epidemic levels. Metformin greatly diminishes energy and strength (as with my own personal experience). In addition to behaviors and diet that have an impact on blood glucose, what is the latest evidence regarding supplements and pharmacological interventions? For example, PCSK9 inhibitors? Also, statins and Ezetimibe are obviously effective in lowering ApoB, but do they raise blood glucose levels? Are there supplements or prescriptions that can offset this?
Is there a reason why as a child, you don't feel any muscle soreness after being highly active? I did a lot of sport and activities as a child but didn't really feel "muscle soreness" until I was in my mid teens doing CrossFit. Is it just because of the types of activities or is there something physiologically different?
