Interested in both as I am going to Nepal to do the Everest Basecamp trek. I didn’t hear during your treatment of the topic on a recent AMA when to start (how long before travel or going to altitude) to start the glutamine supplementation and cyclic hyperventilation technique. (Also the recommended times a day to do the 2-3 rounds of hyperventilation) Also, if you have them, references/links to the studies themselves for me to do further research. Thanks, Bret Nye Nederland, CO
You did a good job of describing the ultradian cycles in the (first?) AMA. I understand you have 2-3 ideal times where your focus is at it's highest point, and can work towards that if you don't. However, what kind of work do you do outside of those hours, or what kind of work is intended to be done when you're not in your peak focus?
What is the latest science on WAKING UP from sleep, losing hearing and energy, headaches, high generalized anxiety and a little high BP (stabilized medicated average 120/80/90),not overweight or smoker or use any alcohol.(never used much) Just passed 80, body mass just over 20. Doing sun gazing, sleep 9-10 hours all over the map. CPAP does not help but wear it some. How big is the genetic factor and aging?
