My swing shift rotates from 8-4, 4-midnight, and midnight-8, changing every 5 days with 1 or 1 1/2 days off before next shift. I'm 59 and can't seem to get a good sleep even with sleep aids. I'd like to work on gaining muscle but I'm not sure when the best time of day would be. On my day off I'm bogged down with chores and shear exhaustion. I follow your sleep protocol but never feel rested. I feel like I'm always in survival mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Dr Huberman I’ve been following your podcast for since the start and I’ve learnt so much that I truly believe the podcast you are making is invaluable. Thanks to the protocols, I’ve urged my parents to change their lifestyle as they enter their 60s to maintain both physical and mental health. Now I would like to prepare for the next generation… with my partner we are considering the idea of having babies. I’ve listened to the podcast episodes on fertility, however it didn’t answer some specific questions I have about pregnancy and developmental psychology and neuroscience… I would like to know what are the latest research in the field of nutrition with regards to child development in the womb… as well as protocols for stimulation of babies both before being born and during the first few years. I know this question is quite broad… but I would love some protocols that would help set up the next generation for success, just like the protocols you share now help us (existing generations) Thank you!
I would please request a full episode on Nicotine addiction, as much as food industry lobbying is talked about in the previous episodes there is a bigger lobbying across nicotine and with the knowledge individuals can take personal responsibility post knowing the bad and ugly affects of it (I'm sure no good affects). How is it different in US vs EU. I'm in EU and we have only limited strength/size regulated which i believe is a good thing also laws for underage selling are robust.
Bluetooth headphones, sun skin exposure, etc. It feels anecdotal. Being from Hawaii, I’ve seen a lot of people with leathery skin from years of sun exposure. Worst case, it seems like you pander towards some guests so I think we need more reinforcing data.
