I have heard and read a lot of critics regarding adopting type of diet/nutrition to persons blood type (A, B,AB,O) as I believe initially proposed by a book that came out in 90s “Eat Right for your Type”. Surprisingly I also know first hand from close family including my mother that have been following these recommendations maybe not strictly but on/off and could swear they can feel the difference. I’m aware this could also be placebo effect but is there any scientific evidence based study regarding this topic? Is it all pseudoscience? What is your point of view? Dr Huberman you are such a beacon of light in the science community and probably the only few opinions and views I trust!! Thank you for everything!!
Andrew, My wife recently had a blood clot in her lower right leg which moved to her lungs resulting in BPE. The clot in the right lung was pressing against her right heart valve, causing her to spend 4 days in the Cardiac Care unit. She is now home, very low energy, taking Eliquis and it looks like the next 6 months or so will be spent visiting doctors, lab work, etc. My question to you is this, can you please provide information on now this blood clot might have originated in the first place, and what life style actions my wife can take to prevent it from happening again, as well as maximizing her recovery? Sorry for the long winded run down but thought the background might be useful. Recently discovered your podcast which I listen to on my daily 5 mile walk. Just got Dr. Means book, Good Energy, and enthused about improving my health path. Thank you for all that you do! Richard Champion
Dr Huberman spoke about lightly mentioned Iboga a few times and I am curious to know if there is any study on Iboga that is public? I grew up in Gabon, where they use Iboga a lot in traditional ceremony and medicine but it is not necessary in a control environment. there are benefit to it but what the risk ?
