Hello, Andrew! First of all, thank you for your immense contribution to public education! I'm a mountain guide and have heard many opinions and tried many practices that presumably prevent altitude sickness. But are there any methods, routines and supplements that are actually scientifically backed for avoiding altitude sickness, enchancing acclimatization and physical performance in low oxygen environments, apart from the classic medicines like acetazolamide and dexamethasone, which are used to treat (severe) altitude sickness symptoms when they are already present?
I would love to watch an episode covering subject of migraine and other related headaches. Where do they come from, what do we know today about possible prevention, where are we (hehe) heading? As a person with many years of a regular, one-sided headaches and after unsuccessful treatments with local doctors I would love to hear some recent scientific data, possibly helping me prevent the pain in the future.
