Cardio zone for low VO2max.

According to my wearable device, my VO2max is 24. My goal is to get it above 50. Rationale: I remember the coined saying “50 over 50” on an episode. I am currently doing zone 4 (5?) for 150 minutes weekly. Method: staimaster. I target my HR to go to low 170s. If I hit 180 HR, I take it down a notch. If I hit high 160s, I take it up a notch. Rationale for HR target: 220 minus 44 is 176. Also the stairmaster is easier in my knees & I don’t get “shin splints” like I do from jogging or sprint intervals. My question: would zone 2 cardio, 150 minutes weekly, like HLP discussed, be better at increasing VO2max than the aforementioned stairmaster method? On a side note, maybe sprint intervals and the shin splints that go along with sprinting may help prevent osteopenia? And also to increase VO2max, better than stairmaster? Maybe it’d be better to suck up the pain from shin splints, to prevent osteopenia, if not already started at age 44.

Women and testosterone

Should women supplement with testosterone in menopause? - we make more than estrogen - FDA pays for men, but not for women - topical vs pellets, etc

Sea Moss

What are the benefits and drawbacks of sea moss?

Antibiotic resistance

May you consider an episode be about antibiotic resistance as it pertains to public health? Maybe a guest speaker who works in the field of infectious diseases or is an expert in anti-infectives? Is there much or enough investment in the development of gram-negative antibiotics, or no? If not, is it because return-on-investment isn’t that much?
