Dr. Craig Konniver describes from broad clinical experience the effects of NAD IV Injections as "transformative". I believe you only have done an NAD IV in isolated instances here and there. What would you say to someone considering following Dr. Konniver's suggestion -- i.e., with a larger loading dose and additional doses in the following week, followed by monthly maintenance doses? Why haven't you done this, and what pros and cons do you see to this decision, apart from monetary cost?
Dr. Huberman, our 23 year old daughter was diagnosed with Autism at three years old, so needless to say we have done everything in those 20 years, ABA, CBT, PT, etc. Even medicines, SSRIs, Prozac, etc. all they did was put her in a zombie state, so we stopped. Overall, we have seen a great deal of improvement, but we still struggle with many things, the most significant is her Anticipatory Anxiety that she has with sounds, PA systems, thunder, car horns and alarms, lawn equipment, referee whistles, basically any sound that she is not expecting. At first, we spent three years doing CBT exposing her to PA systems in grocery stores, etc. After three years we realized that there was no generalization, so after weeks of sessions to the same store, we do a session in a new store and it was like starting all over again, no generalization. So another therapist recommended we try noise cancelling headphones, so we did, they helped a little bit, but she still panics because she still hears some sound. What a mistake, now she has become extremely sensitive to any sound, and that in turn has created allot of frustration, and anxiety in her. We need help and guidance, we are at our wits end, and everything is a massive amount of money. Would you have any recommendations? Or maybe you can refer us to a professional that you may know of? Any help is appreciated. Also, if you do respond to this, how would we be notified? Via email? My information is: Email: abclick9@gmail.com Phone: 305-987-1969 Sincerely, Andres Bolivar
