You've discussed anxiety on your podcast a fair bit, but I am really interested in understanding what is going on when symptoms of derealization and depersonalization occur. These are the primary symptoms I experience during panic attacks, and I would love to know the science behind why, and also what I can do to mitigate these symptoms. LOVE your podcast, and thanks for everything you do!!!
Hello, I was wondering if you could touch on the primary protocols (e.g. sleep schedules, fasting, and exercise) you regularly cover and how/if they should be used by adolescents? Also, I have considered discussing the neurochemical functions I have learned on HL with my adolescent children, but I wonder if this would remove some of the magic that is "life". Personally, love understanding the mechanisms behind certain drives and behaviors and feel it would've been amazing to know in my teen years. What is your opinion on teaching adolescents and children about topics such as dopamine and it's functions? Last question: Are there any plans on covering using neuroscience findings in parenting? I recently read the book "What Do You Say?" By William Stixrud, PhD and Ned Johnson. They mention neuroscience in conjunction with parenting and ever since then I keep hoping you will cover the subject.
