Hi Andrew, I'm interested in pysillisybin treatment for depression. Is this available currently and if so who can I see. I'm a physician (podiatrist x 38 yrs) and live near you/Stanford in Palo Alto. I've heard many of your podcasts and recently joined through Patreon to support what you are doing. Thank you. Steven N. Klein, DPM. ABPS. ACFAS.
I have a patent pending on a product that prevents Cauti's which could save hospitals, 1.7 billion a year in penalties and lack of reimbursements. I am an ICU nurse and not a businessman, but I think it'd be awesome to work with you if it's something that might interest you. I'm just trying to navigate the next steps. Would you be interested?
What are your thoughts on heavy metal contamination of green powders, such as AG1? There have been recent articles that identify potential contaminants, for example here is one from MD Anderson https://www.mdanderson.org/cancerwise/what-to-know-about-greens-powders.h00-159623379.html
Hi Dr. Huberman, thank you for allowing us to ask a question. I have torn both retinas, had laser and surgery, also had a bleed in one eye. I was always afraid to be outside or inside most of the time without sunglasses. I have had halo headaches and floaters, blurred vision and a lot of fear from all of this trauma. But since I have been doing your breathing exercises and gazing at the sun in the early afternoon, which I would have been afraid to do prior to listening to your podcast. Now I feel that I can go without sunglasses unless in very bright sun. I have only been gazing for a few days and can already feel the difference, but mostly the breathing exercises are changing my life. Thank you so much for your incredible podcast and your research. My life has changed because of you. My question is do supplements with astaxanthin with Luetin the best combination for eye health. Can you suggest a particular brand. I have started on BioAstin Hawaiian Astraxanthin 20 mg __ just wondering if this is the right direction. Also I have noticed since I began eating healthy nuts raw and without salt, also raw vegetables, good fats and certain fruits like berries and have noticed my floaters are disappearing. Does Food play a very important part of eye health? Thank you.
Hi Andrew, I have been reading on the possibility of using supplemental lithium for Alzheimer's/dementia. What is your take on this? I'm considering lithium orotate in particular. And I'm so happy to be a member! Your work is absolutely fascinating and thank you for all your generous work. PS, Ditto on your appearance on Bill Maher...great job!
I was diagnosed with stage 4 heart failure and was looking for your advice on how to deal with this. I am 62 years old and working full time. I am not exhibiting any symptoms at this time. From what I have seen on stage 4 heart failure, this must be some kind of anomaly right ? By the way, great job on the Bill Maher show :)
Long time listener and have an inquiry (understand if this goes into an inbox of 10m+). I'm wondering if you all had any idea or research around people who do not experience hunger or thirst. I have not been hungry/thirsty since I was 13 year old (currently 31 M) and have seen many specialists where all roads lead to anxiety as the answer. I've recently quit alcohol after being what we would consider a heavy weekly drinker to see if this is a part of the equation. Regardless, I'm searching for more research or options to explore/test with my body.
Help I'd like to add a document of how many times I cycle in and out of all 3 sleep phases. How do I do that? I don't stay in any one for more than a few minutes at a time. I have slept my life away, IH, CFS. Thanks. stap.t@yahoo.com Could it be underlying Epilepsy? I have TRIED EVERYTHING. 903 530 7541
Hi! I would like to know what is your view on non-integrated primitive reflexes. If they are not integrated on time could they lead to an overall disregulation of the autonomic nervous system and cause issues with overall development, for example? Or be at the root of ADHD or maybe other personality disroders? I am specifically referring to primitive relfexes as outlined by Moira Dempsey mainly because I finished a two-day foundation course here in Bulgaria, and basically, this is my point of reference and current knowledge. Thank you for your time!

For general orthopedic surgeries, what are the best post surgery (HL inspired) protocols that should be incorporated into the recovery period, that could help speed up the healing and return one to baseline fitness levels at a faster rate? And, of course this inquiry is prioritizing the personalized doctor’s orders for individual cases. I could really use HL, post surgery protocols for recovery optimization (mental practice, sleep, supplements, etc) FYI, my specific restrictions include non-weight bearing for 8 weeks following meniscus root attachment. Thank you!
As there are studies about very weak connection between cholesterol from food and high cholesterol in blood (meaning that high bad cholesterol in blood can't be regulated with nutrition), then what's the best way to lower cholesterol in blood, would it be exercise before or after meals for example? You’ve shared a lot of content regarding modes of visual perception, saccadic suppression, etc. As a lifelong martial artist who’s recently taken up fencing, I wonder if you could speak more directly to optimum strategies for using focal points, ambient vs focused modes, and any other visual/perceptual techniques to improve performance in combat sports, target sports, or anywhere else where perceptual speed, discrimination, etc. grant an edge.
I am considering donating my body to science. How best to find and vet a company? I hope to provide information on my lifestyle before my death so that researchers can gain the most information. I would also consider entering into a study. I am a thankful, healthy, exercising, 63 year old woman.
Dear Dr. Huberman, I’d love to suggest an episode focused on fatty liver disease—a growing yet often overlooked public health issue. With its strong ties to diet, metabolism, and overall brain-body health, it's a topic that intersects perfectly with your expertise in neuroscience and human performance. Many people are unaware they have fatty liver until it’s advanced, yet lifestyle changes can make a profound impact. Your evidence-based approach could help raise awareness, clarify misconceptions, and empower listeners with actionable strategies for prevention and reversal. Thanks.
I'm naturally a morning person—I have the most energy and willpower in the early part of the day and throughout working hours. However, once the workday ends, I tend to experience significant fatigue and a strong desire to just stay home, lie in bed, and unwind, even if the weather is great or there are opportunities to go out. This pattern shows up around 4 out of 5 weekdays, and sometimes even on weekends. Based on what I’ve heard in some of your podcasts, I suspect this may be related to dopamine depletion and a possible prolactin response. What can I do to overcome this?
