Hello, I have recently discovered that I am a fast metabolizer of COMT within the PFC. Although I know that the homozygous (G,G) is as up to 35 % prevalent, I have noticed the decreased cognition in high stress situations. Are there any natural supplements that would be able to somehow decrease enzyme activity or increase dopamine in the PFC.
I've read that consuming collagen 30 minutes prior to impact results in better recovery than consuming collagen afterwards. Since I frequently do exercise with high impact on joints (rock climbing, running, etc.), I want to adopt this protocol if it's true. However, I do my workouts first thing in the morning and prefer to do them fasted. Will 20g of collagen peptides "break" my fast?
