Is there any research to suggest that doing sauna post exercise will help increase levels of HGH to the same overall effectiveness as the 1 time a week, 2 total hours sauna protocol? If exercise increases HGH and a person is exercising 4x a week, wouldn't the ability for the body to produce the 16x increase in HGH seen in the 2 hour protocol be diminished?
In episode #86 on Alcohol you mentioned the particularly detrimental and more permanent changes alcohol has on neural and hormone circuitry when used prior to full brain development. You mentioned that there are measures that can be taken specifically to repair these damages and that you would do a podcast on this topic. Like many of us, I am someone who embraced college drinking culture as an undergraduate and am very keen to hear this follow up. For people in their mid to late twenties, aside from the obvious measure of abstaining completely, what can we do to reverse the damage? Thank you.
