How macros affect women’s hormones at different points in their cycle, is IF good for women? Breakfast within an hour vs IF effect on cortisol/women’s hormones? Different macros and nutrients needed at different times of menstrual cycle?
I am a senior kinesiology major and my teacher told me he would give me a 100 in the class if I could answer this question so I thought I would ask you. In perspective to resistance training, the standard number of reps is 8-12. Why is that and how does 8-12 reps become the standard? Does it prove to have more benefits?
I feel like I have the ability to consciously kick off this mental phenomenon. I can’t describe precisely how I do it. The closest similar experience would be consciously trying to flex a muscle or something. Whenever I feel it, it gives me a momentary feeling of euphoria and also opens me up to experience whatever is in my immediate sensory environment more fully. It’s an interesting experience and I’m curious about any evolutionary and neural bases for this mental process.
Hello, I recently read this article "An ALS patient set a record for communicating via a brain implant: 62 words per minute", on MIT Technology Review. https://www.technologyreview.com/2023/01/24/1067226/an-als-patient-set-a-record-for-communicating-via-a-brain-implant-62-words-per-minute/. The implant was done at Standford by your colleagues, Andrew. Perhaps you were consulted on this study. My question: could you do a podcast that addresses human-computer interaction especially in terms of brain implants? What are the pros and cons? What are the benefits and risks? Can the brain co-exist and function well with brain implants long-term? Thank you.
