Hey. There is much information about movement, athletic performance, and working out in general. However, since we are all human, we get injured from time to time, and we need your science and wisdom to optimize our recovery period depending on typical muscle injuries or even orthopedic surgeries. Especially for athletes and people who go to the gym on a regular basis, who follow your path. Our biggest fears are; 1) Muscle loss 2) Gaining fat 3) We need to learn to optimize our body and mind's best possible condition with neurotransmitters without psychical activity 4) We need to learn to manage psychology to get back on track, after a period of too-less or no movement. Due to any short or mid-term physical injuries or recovery periods after surgeries. Best regards,
I enjoyed episode 2 of the guest series with Andy Galpin: Optimal Protocols to Build Strength & Grow Muscles, however as a college athlete (I play basketball, but I think this question is applicable to all athletes), I am interested in how to facilitate growth in all three categories of strength discussed: power, strength and hypertrophy. I thought the discussion described the protocol for each category specifically very well, but as someone with goals of increasing all three, how should I approach a workout plan that covers all three aspects?
So I went to keto to lose some weight. Did fasting as well. Lost 35 lbs in 3 months. Just listened to Focus Toolkit: Tools to Improve Your Focus & Concentration episode. Can you drop an episode that maybe goes into detail with some of this? Basically on brain function and ways like "low carb no fast" "fast but high carb" "Keto but fasting as well" I am no longer want to fast and or keto I hit my goal what is possibly the best way to go around this not for a diet stand point but brain work. I am a disabled vet with PTSD 100% rating every person and doctor says something diffrent but I like your thoughts and super curious what you think of this. I mean I boiught the premium to ask this question hahahahahah. Also sleep situation talk with all of those scenerios. Please and thank you.
