How do you do it?

You are so exceptionally prolific. Hosting episodes every week on highly complex subjects while working at Stanford, mixed with everything else do seems like more output than what would be possible for a single person. How do you do it? You’ve shared a bit about your practices for learning and preparation already, but I would be interested in learning more about the methodology and protocols you use for your creative process.

Can you please do an episode dedicated to internet, phone and social media addiction, and specific tools on how to use these technologies safely with the least amount of exposure to their inherent downsides?

Conflicting advice in #84: get sunlight before 9 AM to maintain your normal circadian rhythm. To phase advance the circadian clock, view light after your temperature minimum between 5 AM and 9 AM

Suppose I wake up 7 AM. I see sunlight at 07:15 AM. Do I phase advance or phase maintain my circadian clock? I am seeing sunlight before 9 AM, so I phase maintain? However, I also see bright light within 4 hours after my temperature minimum, so I phase advance? The segment of 16:40 to 20:45 conflicts with the segment of 01:31:45 to 01:35:15 in podcast episode 84 (Sleep Toolkit: Tools for Optimizing Sleep & Sleep-Wake Timing | Huberman Lab Podcast #84 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2aWYjSA1Jc)

Unconscious humming for managing adhd

When I was a kid I had all the classic ADHD symptoms, being hyperactive, impulsivity, couldn't sit still, struggle to pay attention to details. I didn't know what it was then. But when I did eventually sat to focus on something, people noticed I was making a loud humming sound. I only noticed it after people told me. I made it when I played video games, I made it when I worked on maths. Decades later I still make the sound when I work and can never tell when I begin doing it. I was always focused when the sound was made and can't start doing it by myself, it's involuntary start. It's helped me a lot whenever it got activated. I recently got diagnosed for ADHD. What's even more astonishing is that when I did MDMA recreationally, I made that sound in a nightclub because I was hyper focused 😃 have you ever heard of anything like this ? This feels like the strangest thing ever. I can't yet take amphetamines because I'm bipolar too, my doctor has me doing lamotrigine+guanfacine. As weird as I am, I can't believe a 4 year old boy figured out such a profound coping mechanism.

Excessive daytime sleepiness In Parkinson patients

My dad has been living with Parkinson’s for 37 years. He’s 78 years old, and lately has been experiencing daytime sleepiness. It’s excessively concerning to my mom. Can you please explain EDS in PD, and are there any protocols we can do to help him overcome it or lessen the impact?
