Neuropathy and Type II/Pre-diabetes

Hi Andrew, It would be fascinating to hear you do a podcast on neuropathy, about its possible causes, and different interventions. I started taking Alpha Lipoic Acid after Chat GPT mentioned it could be helpful. I also take Chromium Picolinate in the mornings, and started supplementing Berberine recently (along with metformin) at night. I started ezetimibe after hearing Attia mention that Crestor could cause some people to get higher HbA1c, and I think it's working. I also started sleeping through nights again after starting it which was interesting. I first noticed neuropathy when drinking certain types of beer, especially the wheat beers, and didn't realize it was because of glucose spikes until I saw my HbA1c came back in the pre-diabetes range. Around that time I stumbled upon your podcast and started taking cold showers and fasting, losing 37 lbs. in a month, and have kept it off for over a year, though some came back due to the push ups. I am certainly a new man, and that's partially thanks to you. I still get some tingling if I eat certain carbs, but I tend to limit them, go mostly keto now, and it's pretty much limited to an itchy palm every now and then. I've listened to many, many of your podcasts and have changed many habits based on the information there. I feel much better than I did when I started listening, so thanks. With your background, I think it would be a very interesting podcast subject. Sincerely, Y

Seed oils

Thank you for your answer to the seed oild question on your first AMA. However, there's still this huge hype about seed oils on the internet I do not really understand. My understanding is that seed oils are relatively healthy, because of their Alpha linolenic acid contents. If you answer any further seed oil questions, could you please also take a look at this study and share your thoughts on it? https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10654-007-9195-1 It basically states that several Eastern countries saw a decline in Coronary heart disease in the decade in which their seed oil consumption substantially increased. That seemed to be especially true for countries that mostly used oils high in Alpha Linolenic Acid. Could this have anything to do with a difference in the level of heating or processing? Or are there downsides that outweigh the benefits in referred to in this article?
