Is Sensory Processing disorder a real thing?

I have been recently hearing more about SPD, although its not a medically recognised disorder, there is a lot of talk about it and many children get SPD diagnoses + OT treatment. Is SPD a real thing? Is it something that needs to be managed? Is it only present in children? Can be live without another diagnosis such as ADHD or ASD?

Sauna shopping

I plan to buy a sauna and need advice. I assume you can't recommend a brand, but could you list optimal parameters, e.g. wood, heat source, temperature capacity. #76yearoldgrandma

NSDR for people struggling with their mental health aka metabolic heath

Hi Andrew, I have been struggling with the mental health for most of my life. After reading Brain Energy by Dr Chris Palmer I realised my issue is more of a metabolic health issue inspite mental health professionals giving different labels to my condtion with Bipolar 2 being the latest label. While there has been a 180 degree improvement in my life due to the ketogenic diet in a matter of just 2.5 months which is significant considering no medication or therapy that i underwent since 2011 brought about such change, one challenge I continue to experience is a heavyness / tiredness on the left side of my head that only subsides with NSDR. Any idea what is this heavyness / tiredness, whats causing it and why does it subside when I use NSDR?
