Combat related TBI

It is estimated that over 40% of our military who have served in combat, particularly those with multiple deployments, suffer from TBI. It gets little to no attention and is often misdiagnosed as a simple mental illness, rather than a complex physical and mental illness. There is no doubt that it contributes heavily to the homelessness and joblessness among the veteran population. Can you address the symptoms of (largely undiagnosed) combat TBI and the recent progress that has been made in more accurate diagnosis and treatments, especially the more promising recent clinical studies? Thank you.
