A famous soccer player, Serge Gnabry, claims that his piano lessons have helped him become injury-free by improving balance, left-right hand/foot coordination,... (see https://www.redbull.com/gb-en/theredbulletin/biohacking-tricks-for-professional-footballers) . A deep dive on "neuro athletics" and the effects on the brain of playing instruments like the piano would be awesome!

Does HIIT provide any additional health benefits if you’re already playing competitive sports(soccer, tennis, etc) two times a week? I’ve compared my heart rate data of both kinds of exercises, and my heartrate is usually at the same high level (zone 4/5) as the high-intensity part of HIIT, but for a lot longer period. At the same time, I enjoy playing competitive sports a lot more than doing HIIT workouts on my own. This made me wonder if it is really beneficial to keep doing HIIT as well. Side note: I'm also doing strength training 3 times a week. This question is mainly about the cardiovascular health benefits, and the aerobic and anaerobic perfomance improvements HIIT has proven to give.
