I have read that most of the times the immune system clears the majority of HPV infections within two years. Is this age related, meaning the younger you are the more likely is the immune system to clear it? And secondly how can you improve the chances for the immune system to clear the virus on its own? Also if can do a podcast episode about HPV, I would appreciate it very much, as there is so much information, sometimes contradictory, about this topic. Thank you for your time and the podcast as it provides some much valuable information!
Recently listening to number of podcast I heard that sports does not help with weight loss. Digging into the topic I see internet is full of controversial data and it is hard to track it back to real scientific data. I came across finding Herman Pontzer and his book has a lot of insights and sounds very scientific. His research showed that sports have almost no affected to weight loss itself (but of course sports are still essential). Is his book a good enough read to understand and since the research came out in 2012, during the time after that was there any other research supporting these results? As far as I understand sports can do very minimal affect ~10-15% for weight loss and particularly resistance training (lean mass burn a bit more) than cardio. Could you elaborate on this topic more. And give this theory the common counter argument is where I could not find any scientific data is about swimmer Phelps, where in his training he was eatin 6-8k kcal per day. How did he not gain weight if essentially it is calorie in calorie out, and on avarage lifestyle should not affect this, meaning him being in water and training did burn more calories during exercise but when he would be at rest he would be burning less, since this is the theory from Herman Pontzer? Thank you
