I have a 15 year old daughter classified as having a global intellectual disability. It affects all areas of her life —low IQ, executive functioning, fine and gross motor skills, speech, her ability to attend to and perform self care . She is also dyslexic and had ADHD which is managed through Focalin . Are there any studies being performed to assess the use of Neuralink to possibly alleviate some of the deficiencies in brains like hers? Obviously, I worry about her having to navigate society as an adult when I am no longer on this earth to take care of her .
There are quite some few studies — both old and new — that suggest so. However everyone takes some kind of supplementation without having actually any deficiency. But preventive supplementation seems to increase the risk of cancer. Can you please share your findings on this one?
