Can you use different serotonergic sleeping aids on consecutive nights without I’ll effects? I notice you recommend Inositol every second night, is that to avoid tolerance or avoid overuse of serotonin pathways? I am currently alternating Inositol and cissus quadrangularis, which I’m finding effective for good sleep.
I have had ongoing issues with the tendons in my knees (patella tendon's and more recently quadriceps tendons). I finally ruptured my patella tendon last year and had to undergo surgery to re-attach it. I am a formerly a natural competitive bodybuilder and really value my athletic performance. At almost 37, I am at the stage after years of physical therapy (of varying modalities) that I am now willing to possibly move beyond the world of over the counter supplements (preferably with medical guidance) because I have chronic issues affecting the quality of my daily life and heavily diminishing my athletic potential. I would really appreciate if you can shed any light on what supplements or PED's that can assist or point me in the right direction to an expert in this field who can help me or an information source that can help me further understand how to proceed. I have a health science background and I try to stay informed on the literature, but I haven't be able to find something that really gives me anything but mild symptom alleviation and its really negatively impacting my life so your help with this would be incredible. Thanks in advance!
I heard what you said about fasting and fertility on the last AMA, but I have heard SO many health coaches talking about how women in general should just not fast at all. I’ve heard a lot of them say it can disrupt hormone balance. Can you give an opinion on if women should fast in general? And if they should do short term intermittent fasts or longer term multi day fasts or both or neither?
On a similar topic to the effects of bluetooth/EMF, I am interested in what studies or data there may be relating to the harmful effects of screen time on our physical and mental health. I've been working from home since the pandemic started and my screen time has significantly increased. Since then I have noticed some issues with my eyesight (which was 20/20 in 2019 but has since rapidly declined), but I am wondering what other potential issues have been documented or studied in relation to our increased screen time in the US and worldwide?
