What are the science-based best way to learn new languages?

English is my second language and I'm still learning everyday and I'm really enjoying it. However, I'm sometimes confused with which learning method would be the most effective. The common answer I have heard is that whatever makes you feel enjoyable is the best method to learn a new language. I think it's quite true, but I wonder if there is any science-based method or technique for learning new languages. Your videos about language in general already helped me a lot, but this time I want to ask you about the practical methods and toolkits. Is there any study on the positivity of social isolation?

Given that positive thinking under stress leads to a positive effect on our body, is it possible that positive thinking in social isolation can lead to a positive effect on our body? I’m a grad student and I need to be alone to do the research most of the time. I enjoy the time staying alone.
