The most convenient time for me to use the sauna is first thing in the morning after waking. But my understanding is that sauna use will lower cortisol levels, and that it's important to have the natural spike in cortisol that occurs after one wakes up. Is this a bad time for sauna use?
I would be interested to learn more about the glymphatic system. Are there ways we can support/enhance the brain's ‘detox’ by glial cells? You have previously mentioned raising feet (about 5 degrees) during sleep. Do you ever practice any inversions in your training routine? It would be great to hear your opinion on yoga inversions (e.g. headstand, handstand, forearm balance, wall walks etc.). Are there any ‘neuro’ benefits (e.g. increased blood flow to brain) or risks to eyes we should be aware of (e.g. increased pressure or petechaie)? Thanks and happy new year!
What if the reason giving leads to "more in return from the universe" is because a subset neural circuit bound to "dopamine" -> drive + suprise is unwound. What if the world doesn't necessarily give; it allows you to act on circuits that enable alternate pathways. Ultimately what if giving creates enough space to receive. Is there any consensus on this? Cheers!
