I have recently read an article in National Geographic about studies related to animals and their ability to process “human-like” emotions. My question is, what do we know so far about the inner emotional life of animals (for example dogs, monkeys etc.) and how similar is the animal brain (also its neurocircuits related to emotions) to ours? For example can animals develop depression? Thank you.
I've read that consuming collagen 30 minutes prior to impact results in better recovery than consuming collagen afterwards. Since I frequently do exercise with high impact on joints (rock climbing, running, etc.), I want to adopt this protocol if it's true. However, I do my workouts first thing in the morning and prefer to do them fasted. Will 20g of collagen peptides "break" my fast?
Hello, I have recently discovered that I am a fast metabolizer of COMT within the PFC. Although I know that the homozygous (G,G) is as up to 35 % prevalent, I have noticed the decreased cognition in high stress situations. Are there any natural supplements that would be able to somehow decrease enzyme activity or increase dopamine in the PFC.
