However, the translation of knowledge to practice seems to vary among individuals, despite the apparent benefits for longevity and vitality. In a neuroscientific context, how might modern medical institutions address this variance to encourage a proactive engagement with positive health behaviours? Furthermore, how can these institutions shift from a reactive to a proactive health management paradigm, emphasizing preventative measures?

Believing I have unlimited willpower/tenacity

Good morning! I just listened with rapt attention to your podcast on WIllpower and wonder if you could expound on how our belief in something relates to our ability to push further? Is this related to releasing core beliefs from trauma or childhood that no longer serve us? a contract we believe that limits us? In my research on weight-loss and maintaining a weight loss for some time, I have used the premise that willpower was finite and we had to replenish it in order to manage resistance late into the evening. How can we shift our belief system around this?

Intelligence? Theory of Multiple Intelligences? Learning Pyramid is Wrong?! Learning Myths

Hello Dr. Huberman. I'm quite interested in this question for a very long time, but haven't got any definite answer: "What really is Intelligence?" The question is popular but the answer is not. Some other questions might arise also are: + "Is the theory of multiple intelligences correct?". With my limited knowledge, I just know that we story memory and knowledge in parts of the brain, and we can actually train those parts of the brain. With correct methods and dedication, one can train certain parts of the brain to professional level, thus what we called a career, a job (a specific job requires some specific trained brain's regions). Then, is multiple intelligences theory still correct when we know that any (healthy) human can train different regions of the brain? +"How does the concept of learning styles relate to the theory of multiple intelligences?". I just only know that learning styles don't exist, because our brain are structured almost the same, but does it seem to be similarities between the two concepts, or is it just my subjective opinion? If they does relate, then if learning styles is wrong, theory of MI somewhat incorrect (in any way)? +"How does The Learning Pyramid (provided by NTIL Institute of Applied Behavioral Science) wrong?". From some sources, they argue that this pyramid is inaccurate, or even wrong. I'm just not quite clear why and/or how this pyramid is incorrect? Since it does look right to the eyes of normal people (which in many cases not too reliable, but this one pyramid is quite compelling to believed). With these questions, I hope I and many people out there too can be enlightened, and know the truth to the myths in learning.
