Barefoot shoes - the way to go?

I see more and more opinions that barefoot shoes are the only way to have a healthy body without any chronic pain. Do you agree with that? What are the real benefits and which aspects of wearing these types of shoes are still under question? Any advice for choosing every day as well as training shoes?

Red light for mornings

I like the idea of getting sunlight first thing, however I am up before the sun and this is not an option. I have a red light/NIR panel. Would that be recommended as a morning routine?
